Trust Circle

A simple but efficient way of tracking your boundaries.

 

The Trust Circle is an exercise (meant to be visited and re-visited often) to gauge the form and support type of the relationships in your life.

 

Oftentimes neurodistinct people have a difficult time determining who they can confide in or turn to in a crisis, especially when the crisis is present. We often forget how many people really care about us, and want to support us. 

 

Relationships in context with your boundaries and support needs is important and your responsibility.

You may print the document or markup on your phone/tablet.

 

1. Pick a day when you are grounded (or as grounded as one can be)

2. Light a candle or an incense

3. Get a pencil or pen (although pencil will allow you to re/move names) 

4. Start from the outside in or the inside out (whatever feels right)

5. Write as many names as come to mind in each circle

6. Go back and review

7. Come back and redo every 3-5 weeks
